This project was financed by the European Social Fund and promoted by the Minister for Work and Social Policies, under the auspice of Law 125/91, whitch through positive action for gender equality intended to promote, by means of a diverse organisation as well as working condition and hours, a balance between family and professional reponsebilities, and a fairer division of such responsebilities between the sexes. The proposes action entitled "Tolomeo. Training of female executives" sought to strengthen the position of women in managerial position in several regional bases of the national "Confartigianato"(Craft Union) through training activities and a better exploiting of the full potential of their skills, thus promoting the roles and functions of women in the Confederation.
The beneficiaries of the project are twenty-one female managers (regional representatives) working within the national "Confartigianato" (Craft Union) in decision-making and leadership roles.
