The project named "Quality in Health - For an anhanced vet system at eu level:vocational qualifications for health industry", approved within the "Leonardo Da Vinci" EU programme - "Transfer of Innovation" action, aims at contributing to increase the quality of VET system in the health system through the identification and definition of a permanent and sustainable system to:
- Identify vocational qualifications(VQs)
- Pilot and Verify formal and no-formal learning methodologies
- share and convalidate formal and no-formal learning methodologies
The project will enhance the national and international competitiveness of the firms in health industry sector by the qualified workforce, the testing and certification of their competences.
The project is promoted by SEIS - Health industry employers’ association of Turkey (Turkey - promoter), which will cooperate with the follwoing partners:
- VFA – Educational Consultancy services (Greece)
- The Culture Net - European Centre for Linguistic and Professional Training
- EDUSER Consultancy Services Co. (Turkey), CENTRO SERVIZI s.r.l. – Consultancy services (Italy)
- SADER – Health Products Producers and Representatives Association Turkey)
- TISK - Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (Turkey, silent partner)
The testing and convalidation of the permanent criteria for the creation of a Certification System of Professional Qualifications will be monitored by the National Qualification Authority - MYK (Turkey).
The primary target group of the project is the following sub groups:
- Staff and members of partners organization who will work for this project
- those who are currently working in the sector with or without formal certification (validation of informal and non formal learning)
- those who are just entering the sector with or without formal certificates
- recent qualified graduates of formal and/or non-formal education/training institutions
- employers
- instructors who are working at public and private training institutions within the sector
The indirect beneficiaries of the project are:
- enterprises who employ qualified and certified work force
- universities, post Vet schools, VET high schools and other public and private training institutions active in this sector
- workers and enterprises of direct beneficiaries who will be informed on the benefits of the project.
The "Quality in Health" project will be divided into 5 macrophases:
- Identifiction of the main Professional Qualifications (PQ) required within the sector
- Development of training programmes within 4 identified didactic areas
- Development of a testing and certification system of competences
- Realisation of Training courses for small groups of beneficiaries within 2 out of the 4 identified areas
- Realisation of testing and certification procedures
